1. Who we are
Turns is a digital ledger for Susu groups. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
2. What we collect
- Your name and phone number, at signup.
- A password, which we hash and never store in readable form.
- The circles you join, your slot in them, and your contribution history.
- The device type and app version, for support purposes.
3. What we do not collect
We do not collect your bank account, your mobile money number, your Ghana Card number, your location, your contacts, or your social media accounts.
4. Why we collect it
- Your name and phone, so other members of your circle can recognise you.
- Your circle activity, so the ledger works.
- Your device and app version, so we can fix problems.
5. Who we share it with
The other members of the circles you join, and only the data they need to see (your name, your contributions to that circle). No one else. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
6. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed within seven days. Anonymous records of completed cycles remain so the ledger for other members stays intact.
7. Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, export it, or delete your account, all from the app.
8. Children
Turns is for adults. If you are under eighteen, please do not use it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will tell you in the app at least thirty days before the change takes effect.
