How we keep your information safe.

Plain-language commitments. No fine print buried at the bottom.

What we store

Your name. Your phone number. Your password, hashed, never readable. The circles you belong to. The contributions you have made. The confirmations you have given. That is all.

What we do not store

We do not store your bank details, your mobile money number, your Ghana Card, or any payment instrument. We never need them. Turns is a ledger; the money never passes through us.

Passwords

Your password is hashed using Argon2. Even our engineers cannot read it. If you forget it, we do not recover it; we let you set a new one.

Data in motion

Every connection between your phone and our servers is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Anyone listening on the network sees noise.

Data at rest

Your data lives on servers we control, in databases that are encrypted at rest. We back them up daily and keep backups for thirty days.

Who can see your data

  • You can see your own data in full.
  • Other members of your circle can see the parts that affect them: who is in the circle, who paid, who received.
  • Our support team can read your records only when you ask for help. Every access is logged.
  • No one else.

Deleting your account

Open the app, go to Settings, tap “Delete my account.” Within seven days your personal data is removed from our systems. We keep the anonymous shape of the circles you were in, so the ledger for the remaining members stays whole.

If you find a security issue, email security@14harvest.com. We respond within two business days.
